a caveat (more for me than for you) 

let's just be clear: i am not an artist. not even close.

but i've always been a builder. 

working with my hands has always undone whatever it was that i was working thru in my mind. from my earliest days using my grandpa's drafting rulers to connect all the furniture in my grandparent's living room to make 'highways' for my matchbox cars. later i poured myself into furniture design. 

i can't paint or draw worth a damn. i never took art classes. 

but i can build things. and lately i've had a lot to think thru. what follow's is what i've set my idle hands to.  

though, i repeat: i am not an artist. not even close.
